Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address (for account creation and login)
• Fitness profile: age, height, weight, goals, dietary preferences
• Workout logs: session dates, exercises, sets, and reps
• Food logs: meals and estimated macros you manually enter
• Progress data: measurements and photos you optionally add

What we do NOT collect

• Food photos — photos stay on your device and are never uploaded
• Payment information — Risen is free with no in-app purchases
• Location data beyond the country and city size you voluntarily provide

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Risen service: generating personalised workout programs, meal plans, and progress tracking. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

AI features

Some features (AI meal gap-fill, dietary assistant) send anonymised dietary preference and macro data to Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions. No personal identifiers (name, email) are included in these requests.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS. Data at rest and in transit is encrypted. We apply row-level security so only you can access your own data.

Your rights

• Access your data: everything is visible in the app
• Delete your account: contact us and we will permanently delete all your data within 30 days
• Export: contact us to request a data export
